Pompadour Leather 18th Century Shoes (Ivory)

The shoes are absolutely stunning! They are very comfortable and fit almost perfectly. Unfortunately there is one thing that disappoints me a bit. The backs of the shoes are too big and they make my feet slip out of the shoes a little whenever I walk. I ordered the smallest size available, 5, so exchanging them for an even smaller size is not really an option for me. This slight inconvenience is bearable so I won't lower my rating despite it. I also appreciate how quickly these shoes arrived! It was pretty much a last minute purchase before an event I will be attending very soon. Overall, I don't regret buying the shoes and I don't think I ever will.

The shoes are stunning and i really want to make them fit me but I’m not sure how. I have narrow feet and the front of the shoe fits me nice and snug, the size (length) is correct as well, maybe even on a smaller side, but the back is so wide and the instep so high that the shoes fit like mules, meaning my foot completely slips out of the shoe with every step no matter how tightly i tie them. I tried adding a little heel pad and an insole but it didn’t make a difference. Help?

To start, I already owned a few pairs from this brand, so I ordered my usual size, and i believe the shoes fit true to size.
These shoes are absolutely beautiful, the heel is balanced, and the width of the shoe is comfortable. However, the heel slips. Not to the point where the whole shoe comes off, but enough to make it a little uncomfortable. I took a risky and artistic approach to the issue and found a way to fix it, but keep in mind that this shoe is not suitable to all foot shapes.
Overall a great shoe, worth trying. If it fits your foot shape, I believe these can be really comfortable.

These shoes are different comfortable very ‘me’ but I did want them in baby powder blue colour - Christine was very helpful with information about dying them so that is what i will do! Thanks 👍
