Gibson Edwardian Shoes are perfectly period for c. 1890s - 1925. Dyeable, elegant and sturdy, Gibson will look excellent at your Downton Abbey, World War I, Somewhere in Time, and Titanic events, as well as very smart with modern clothes. These versatile shoes are fantastic for cottagecore and Lolita outfits, or historybounding.

Great everyday shoes!

Was looking for everyday shoes to fit my vintage outfits and these work perfectly well with most and are comfortable to wear every day! They look bigger than expected when worn, but still look very cute <3 Very happy with them :)

Beautiful & Comfortable

The shoes looks beautiful and just like in the picture! Even before breaking them in they were already very comfortable. I got them to wear in warmer weather and it's now the prettiest spring/summer shoe I own, I can walk in them without socks as well. I ordered my usual size 9 which was just a tiny bit to big (especially barefoot) but that was easily fixed with an insole. No problem with shipping to Germany and the american duchess team was very kind and helpful when I had a question. Overall I'm supper happy with the shoes and look forward to wearing them a lot!

Beautiful quality

These are so beautiful and the quality is amazing! I ordered these in two sizes but unfortunately couldn’t get them to fit my feet. I own 3 other pairs of AD shoes and I absolutely love them, but the laces on this pair just hit my feet at a particular point where it hurt. My feet are quite particular though (very high instep, bunions and I need an insole for my flat feet), I’m sure they’ll work lovely for many other people. The return process is very easy, so don’t hesitate if you’re on the fence.
