Whether you're stepping into the 17th century or you like to add a dash of secret history to your modern outfits, the fabulously funky Nell 17th Century Leather Shoes will take you there.
Named for Nell Gwyn, actress and mistress of King Charles II of England, our Nell 17th century shoes offer unique tapered square toes and gently shaped heel on a very sturdy leather sole. The adjustable latchet closure ties with a satin ribbon, but don't be afraid to add rosettes or other decoration for a very Baroque vibe.
Nells are accurate for c. 1640 through the 1680s, with all-leather construction, perfect for English Civil War, "Versailles" cosplay, historybounding, Royalcore, Dark Academia, Lolita coords, and Gothic aesthetics.
This design is also available in men's sizing, aptly named Louis. There is crossover between the men's and women's size ranges. Please note that women's standard width is "B" and men's standard width is "D."
